help please with
one having grouse tipping pound at diner (7) B????E?

how ridiculous...as soon as i submit i have it!!!

I'm new to the forum. Having enjoyed previous Genius crosswords, I'm struggling to enter answers on this grid. I've solved most of the clues but am unsure how to move forward with filling the grid. The second across answer has three letters but where on earth does it go in the grid? Any gentle nudges in the right direction would be appreciated.

2nd across clue goes where it should leaving 2 letters blank....

It wasn't obvious where a few answers should go, especially, as you say the three-letter ones.
As quite a a few on this thread have said, they, and I, were left with a empty NE quadrant after completing Round 1 so if you work on that premise, that should help. Towards the top of the grid just keep everything to the left/west and middle.

Thank you xwordfan and muraria, things are becoming slightly clearer. I'll try filling in a few answers along the lines you suggest. I suspect I may need to print off another copy, or two, of the grid before it all makes sense.

I think I have answered all the clues in Round 1 - except “Maybe airbrush”. I have a hole in NE. I have a seven word instruction. I have no idea how to apply that instruction! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Follow the second part of the instruction first and, reading what's left top to bottom, will leave you with a description of the NE, a header, and then the 'clues' to what to put in the NE
