I've just heard Chris Packham on the otherwise excellent "Evolution" series say "the importance of this can't be underestimated". Do they not listen to themselves? Do they not hav ean editor?

"Known to you and I" ... no, "you and me!". Who proofreads these?

Jessica Ennis-Hill on the BBC Sports website:
'You can't underestimate the impact of bringing your kids to this'
Do they not listen to themselves? Sports commentators are particularly likely to get this the wrong way round.

She talks a lot of rubbish. I like Rutherford though and Cram is excellent. I wish Paula R would not interrupt his commentaries. Steve B is very informative on field events.

The coverage is so much better than TNT was on Commonwealth Games. It was very poor though they gave many hours to them/it.

I agree with your comments and Gabby Logan is an excellent presenter.
I dont know who the TNT woman was but she was hopeless.

I still enjoy TMS but I do miss Arlott and Johnners and there's too much emphasis on cricket. We need more chat about buses and trains pulling into the local station.

Steve Cram was a fine runner and mostly a good commentator but...

In a steeplechase commentary a runner had problems over the last two penultimate barriers.
