Well, brock, I found that very tough going, and I don’t know what our friends across the Pond (belatedly happy Thanksgiving, by the way) will make of one or two of the clues. Got there eventually though, and enjoyed the challenge.
FOI (somewhat desperately) 15d
LOI 5d, which I guessed much earlier but couldn’t parse, and I’m still not entirely sure as my parsing depends on a dubious abbreviation.
COD? I’ll go for 6d because of the amusingly (to me) risquê surface.

Finding this extremely difficult.
Have a guess for 5d but haven't parsed yet.
19d still unsolved and will be LOI if I figure it out.
FOI was 8.
COD so far 16, because a) risquê nature and b) very tricky, solved by wordplay but had to verify...an "across the Pond" thing.

Not seeing a major theme (which've come to expect from Brockwell), though a few solutions suggest Joe Cocker. 🤣

Typo: 18d is the one yet to be solved.

I found 1 extremely clever, on the COD shortlist.

Solved 18, which wasn't all that difficult in the end, LOI.

Thanks to Brockwell for a stiff challenge. Now to think about possible theme.

Morning (/evening), geeker.
Glad it wasn’t just me!
I didn’t know 16 either - I think it’s pretty obscure on either side of the Pond.
My parsing of 5d is 1,1,2,2, but I may be wrong, and it’s the first 1 that I find dubious, even after using a search engine.
18 is interesting, as I think it depends on an across the Pond spelling of a rather irritating (to me anyway) abbreviation.

I don’t normally look for a theme, but since you mentioned it, geeker, I’m seeing a few answers that relate to 4d.

In fact the more I look, the more I see! Very clever.

18 is funny, because the solution hinges on a rare "across the pond" word that works in my favo(u)r (and I also find irritating).
