Surprised to be first here although we don't understand the title.

Upsetter - Nor me!

Surprisingly straight forward gridfill for Kea. Have the title and creators. No idea on the bars at this point. Will continue to ponder.....

Barring off the title and the creators makes 70 bars, so that would seem to be a red herring. And what is to be done about the non-word before the middle word of the title? Still some work to be done within sight of the post.

At the risk of stating the obvious, Kea is a three-time Ascot Gold Cup winner, so the endgame was unlikely to be trivial. But it’s very nicely done. As ever, it helps to read the preamble

A very cleverly constructed grid

As I have a full grid with 6 empty cells in just under two hours, I am expecting the endgame to be rather tricky........

Spotted the originators and have 66 bars in my grid, just pondering what I am supposed to do with the empty cells.

I always find grid staring and GWITS tedious and annoying. I now have no blank cells, but 70 bars.
