I’m done but having trouble parsing the following. Help appreciated:
1. I think they lead to grouse, but can’t explain the first half of the clue.
4. Does the solution also mean “serves”? Haven’t seen that usage.
7. What truncated guide is the last five letters?
15. Is this even a thing, a phrase? I see it’s the name of an album by an ex-Eastenders actress.

Started this morning, not well yesterday. Read the forum and first comment from geeker rating it above average in difficulty wasn’t a good start if geeker found it difficult I was not very confident of getting many and certainly not finishing. However I’m delighted, I’ve finished with minimal help from forum. Have to confess though I’ve failed to spot a theme unless it is crossword related.
Very enjoyable and has helped in my recovery from yesterday’s
upset.

Dhope, you say you have failed to spot a theme "unless it is crossword related"; well, that's fine: you don't need to spot a theme that isn't crossword related. This is one of the rare cases where EVERY clue connects to the theme in one way or another, either in the clue or in the solution. (Though for a few of them the connection is very weak.)
