My heart sank when I saw this week's Prize setter was Enigmatist but, thankfully, it was nowhere near as difficult as his offering of a few week's ago.

There are still a few I haven't fully parsed but, to be honest, I'm just happy not to get a DNF.

COD: Lots of excellent options but I think I'll go for 16a.

Did you find this easier than Enigmatist's previous puzzle or do you think it's equally as difficult? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks to an Enigmatist for a challenging and fun crossword.

Thanks to Enigmatist.
Some of the short (3 and 4 letter) solutions were even easy.
I am stuck on 25 (potential LOI) but have the rest, admittedly with some not fully parsed.
I got lucky and was able to write in some longer answers.
Definitely less knotty than the prior Enigmatist Prize, which I skipped. 🤣
But I won't call it easy by any stretch.

Hi Geeker,

25d - "individual who finds classes challenging" is 1,5 with the 5 missing its last letter/'not completely' - definition is an unusual word meaning "hooked"

Got 25 after some thought and Googling. It's a good and funny one!
FOI 9, LOI 25.
Head hurts too much to ponder COD at this time. 🤣

Thanks, brendan.
I managed to get it, but our posts crossed.

This must be tractable by Enigmatist's standards, because it's only (either) the second or third puzzle under that byline I've completely solved. I've definitely managed a few Io and Nimrod puzzles, though.

Still pondering 20 and can't parse 22. The rest, a good mixture.

22 is difficult to parse. I started with a 4-letter word, then substituted a 3-letter word for one of the letters.

Flunked on Enigmatist a few weeks ago, so glad to get through this one. At least I think I have - 22d took a while to parse and I am dubious on a couple of others. Some clues, like 1a and 30a were solved mostly through lucky guesswork.
