Looking for a nudge if possible.
Have worked my way diligently (and slowly) through this one, following the various instructions up to and including the last two words of the original nine - which has in turn generated a further instruction. Not sure what to do with that message to generate what I assume - and hope! - is the final stage.
Please ignore if that is asking too much.

Everything printed in the grid is there for a reason.

Only just starting this having been away at the weekend.

A quick glance at earlier posts and one remark leapt out: the gridfill was the easy part!

Sometimes the Listener is simply mad...

I think I might have to give this one up. After many hours of hard work, I still have 19 clues to solve and therefore a grid which is nowhere near full. It is a pity, because so far I have enjoyed solving some very good clues.

We completed the grid on Sunday and have the message and all the extra words but still can't get to the endgame.

If I decide to have another go at this puzzle, would it be within the rules of this site to ask for hints for the 19 clues I have not been able to solve, or would that be asking too much?

Opt0, help with 19 clues seems a little bit much to me. Wouldn't help with three or four, say, open up some of the others?
