Please help me in parsing/ solving this cryptic clue -
" Dull girl took it easy (6)"

Possibly GLAZED with G for girl, but this is not a standard abbreviation

Bharat, I think most regular solvers would class that as a pretty poor clue! We're used to single letters being abbreviations, of course, but I do't think I've ever seen G for girl before.

You may be right, Malone wrt the clue being poor. But I have seen G for girl being used sometime, when the setter does not a good wordplay.
