is hub a synonym of bus? then it will work. But I need your guidance

That would require an indirect anagram, so no.
I suspect a misprint and as you say bus should be written as hub.
Perhaps others will have a better idea.

It’s too close to being an anagram to be coincidence. Even if hub was a synonym for bus, which it isn’t, it’s not acceptable to use a synonym in an anagram without clear indication. So IMHO it’s either a misprint or compiler error. Bus makes more sense in the clue’s surface, so I suspect the latter. I wouldn’t spend any more time on it

HUB and BUS are both ways of connecting computer stuff. It's still an indirect anagram, though.

Maybe before your time. He played James Bond. Yes is the radio term for agreed, and a word for extra surrounds the central letter of for (naked)

Can it be ROGER MOORE ? Roger for yes, MORE for extra ; for naked is O. I think it sounds okay, as Roger moore is an acotr
