Well thank goodness I didn't have to parse Kwarteng. Once Geeker put me right, 24ac was easy. I didn't know that definition for Wattle, but Chambers had it. That just left18ac, which took me ages despite Chris's hint. So, all done now. I still can't parse 10ac, but found myself humming Poison Ivy. I guess it's a homophone. I don't know any Maori, so failed to spot any Ninas.

FOI was 14 ac, also my COD. LOI was 18ac - what took me so long?

Fruit processing progressing. Temperature dropping a tad.

I can relax now.

I just posted a thread, but it has disappeared. I finished.

I'm away next weekend, so doubt I'll get chance to look at the crossword.

10 was one of the easier ones to parse, I thought. Definition "application", parses 3,1,2.

19 reminded me of this poem (Monty Python?)

Glad you stuck with it. I am in the rare position of knowing enough Maori and being aware of PK's propensity for Ninas to spot them. They are in lines 4 and 12. See my earlier posts @ 12, 14 and 16 for more details. As far as I can tell, they have little bearing on the puzzle as a whole.

Distracted by an afternoon playing arcade games with my youngest yesterday, so only really had a chance to dig into this yesterday evening / this morning and I'm not loving it.

About 50% complete with all assistance here so with family / BBQ duties today I think I'll put this one down to experience.

I did like 3D, first time I've seen that synonym for "mediocre" used!

Disappointing prize crossword no wow factor this week!

I know I am not the only mathematician here, but 5a is not "geometrical study"!

I am stuck on 15 and 18 despite the hints for 18.

OK, got those two now. But there is no indefinite article in there!
