Enjoyed this and thanks for a couple of steers. All complete but there are two answers I am fairly confident are right but am struggling to parse:

12A, I get the first word from not working (3) + line (3). But I can't parse the second, assuming I am right that it is a diminutive ivory tinkler.

6D, Only one word seems to fit my crossers and fits the definition (assuming that is the last four words of the clue). But again I can't parse the first five words.

12a - 3 letter "not working" + 3 letter "line" + 3 letter "low" + 2 letter "about" - he is the ivory tinker of whom you speak 😀

6d - 3 letter "people" minus it's first letter/"no money" + 4 letter "affected" - definition is, as you say, the last 4 words.
