another very irritating advert - we buy any car dot com
your nearest branch (?) could be as near as 13 miles away, over a graphic that says "average distance 13.8 miles". if that's the average, lots must be considerably less than 13 miles away!

Brilliant, Quisling, thanks for the links, I look forward to viewing them all.

As for getting the names the wrong way round, well it was nearly 50 years ago.

Another classic was Margaret Thatcher praising Willie Whitelaw, he was by her side at the time when she said “Every Prime Minister needs a Willie”.

Apparently she had no sense of humour and didn’t realise the significance of her words.

Thanks for the tip, brendan, but I only attempt "solve, then write answer in" puzzles, not ones where you have to muck around with the solution first!
