Novice, if you e-mail me at andywish@sky.com I can help you - I don't want to give any more away on here. Alternatively combine the advice from caphrist at thread 16 with that of Meursault at thread 52. The phrase is not in a single straight line.

Good Afternoon

Idle curiosity, but did anybody opt at once for the slightly less symmetrical 5-6 7 option for the 18 cells?

Absolutely, that's why I was curious to know if others had avoided the trap that I happily fell into!!

After much grid staring I have to say I was slightly underwhelmed when the penny finally dropped. Nevertheless still another quality contribution.

Luckily I had 567 and was completely oblivious to the alternative before I came here for help with the phrase. I nearly started to change it all but spotted the phrase just in the nick of time. A pleasant distraction from a frustrating England performance and a difficulty level I am happy with as my personal Listener baseline.

I agree that the phrase does not actually suggest any further action is needed unless you have the wrong subject.

Not quite sure why 'their' is significant but maybe my grammar is a bit weak.
