I have the top right corner, due to some lucky solving and location, and the main spine, but I'm struggling with the lower 11 letter entry. Is "Meg" a definition?

Dylan, Def is at the other end of the clue. Meg has nothing to do with Margaret.

A satisfying grid fill with just one left - S Husky etc -any help please?
Found the character and creator but stuck on the three-word phrase.
The source is rather too obvious - assuming I have not been led astray?

Meg is an abbreviation, Dylan, which needs to be replaced by another abbreviation. Convoluted clue, the key to which is the common synonym for liability.
The excellent start to the year continues, although this suffers a little by comparison.

Have the source now but that three word phrase must be very cleverly concealed

fgsltw, husky is the abbreviation for lecturer x 2 in a 3 letter dance. Can't find the phrase - but from the preamble, that doesn't matter. The excellent start to the year continues.

Thanks gitto. That just leaves the phrase. I still want to find it even if one doesn't have to! Seems a shame to stop having come so far!
