At first examination, it looks like solving 20,9 is the primary objective to amending every other clue.
Parsing 20,9 looks complicated. I've got one solution (right or wrong), but cannot apply it to the others - not yet , anyway. Any input would be appreciated.

Have you actually managed to print a Pdf? All I can get is a jpeg with microscopic print which is putting me off any attempt to work out 20,9

Well done, dizoz. I'm intrigued but please don't publish your putative solution. On the other hand hints are welcome to me.

I have made a PDF version of the crossword but have forgotten how I can make it available to anyone who wants it. I know! I can upload to a website of mine.

Watch this space, or one near it.

Dizoz - do you think it's the clue itself that has to be amended or the answer to the clue?

Still living in hope of a decent-size print-out!

I agree with dizoz. I have a possible solution to 20,9, but it doesn't seem to work as I thought it should, i.e., taking something out of the given clue. It looks as if it might be that the something is added to the answer to the clue to make the right answer (as in 20,9!).

Also have a solution to 20,9 but (worryingly) can't fully parse it...as the preamble says "20,9 is missing from each clue", and has to be added to the clue and consequently the answer.

The missing 20,9 can be from the definition part as well as the wordplay.

Oh dear. I assumed it was from the one or the other throughout, not either

In light of 27A...the "and consequently the answer" part of my over hasty comment above only applies if 20,9 is part of the wordplay as opposed to part (or all) of the definition.
