Hello, Elle!
Yes, the racing was good today.
Yes, most American horses run on drugs, particularly a drug called Lasix.
Racing in America is a multi-billion dollar industry and on drugs the horses can run more often.
Horses bleed more easily than humans and Lasix is said to help prevent this. I agree, it is not right.
We rarely see the American horses race in Europe and that is why.
Drugs are not allowed here.
I think you are going to have to go to night school for a course in Freeview boxes!

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely warm sunny day here (so far anyway, let's not tempt providence!) - the temperature out this morning was supposedly 19C.
A very enjoyable walk.
I was reluctant to return home and face some household chores!
Tennis to watch later ......... although I have to fit in a second dog walk at some point .
How about you?
Have you been out for your paper? Taking the scenic route?
Are you betting on any horses today?

Hi, Rusty!
Hi, Rusty!
Are you home again?
Whew, that's a relief! Household jobs all done and dusted (sorry, didn't mean to make a pun!) and all in time for the start of the tennis at Queens!
How is that for organisation?
Our (younger ) daughter rang up to ask if we could sponsor the baby!
He is only fourteen weeks old and already expected to take part in a Charity sponsorship!
She takes him to a Baby Sensory class, and the babies/ toddlers are being asked to dress up as a "Super Hero" and try to catch a "baddie" !
My mind is boggling.......but of course I said "yes"!
(I have yet to learn which super hero he will become!)

Hello, Elle!
A Baby Sensory class?
I wonder what goes on at one of them?
Still raining here.
So, it will be a wet walk today!
Laura Robson has been given a "wild card" for Wimbledon.
So, that is not unexpected, and I look forward to seeing her.
Is she at Queens?
Sharapova is appealing her sentence.
The lady has a brass neck!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
These sensory classes are apparently quite amazing!
There is use of bubbles, projector slides and lights for sight effects.
Sound is helped develop by singing and use of instruments.
Sometimes massage is involved for stimulation of physical touch.
Signing, singing, storytelling......and even, so I am told, baby gynnastics!
Although this last is only suitable presumably for the slightly older infant?
I cannot see my youngest grandson an eager gymnast at just over three months??!!
Yes, great to hear that Laura Robson has got a Wild Card for the Ladies Singles...as have other Brits, Katie Swan and Tara Moore.
Laura and her partner also have a Wild Card for the Ladies Doubles, and so have Heather Watson and partner Naomi Broady.
Liam Broady and Dustin Brown (Germany) are among the Wild Cards for the Men's Singles.
A goodly lot of awards! .......and more yet to be announced.......
Leaving the tennis now for a bit, whilst we go for a walk.......beautiful here....bright blue sky and warm sunshine!
Sorry that you aren't having the same......

Hello, Elle!
The baby sensory thing sounds a bit Cloud Cuckoo Land to me?
Could it be a scam?
I think you should have a proper look into it?
Let us hope that Sharapova does not apply for a "wild card"!
She would need a special cupboard for all her "medication supplements".
I had nice weather a week ago.
I am sure I will get more before the end of summer!
