Hi, Rusty!
Yes, good progress is being made!
The builders have restored the damaged coving, and have now gone home for their lunch.
One of the advantages of living nearby!
This afternoon, they are to undercoat the new ceiling, and affect some repairs to the architrave of the patio door, which was also affected by the flood.
I have had a relatively leisurely morning, as there has not been a lot that I can do......
My lounge looks as though I am about to hold a public meeting......with eight dining chairs lined up in rows across the floor!
Our seven foot dining table is stood on its side in the kitchen......out of harm's way!
We are getting there........
The surprise "tea party" will be light relief at the end of the day!
(At least I shall not have to cook dinner!)
Have you done your crossword?
There are three clues that I cannot do.........…
Hello, Ros!
Goodness, a "rainbow" cake sounds a formidable task!
I hope your granddaughter is suitably appreciative of granny's efforts!
I would not have the faintest idea of how to go about such a project....
But I expect the end result of your cake making will be brilliant as always.
I remember your gingerbread house.
