Thanks. Fits exactly but looks as if I may have first letter of 28 across wrong? Any more help available. As a recent newcomer to Listener and Crossword solver can I just say how much I am enjoying the camaraderie.

I don't know if you have a mistake in the last four letters, but they spell out a simple word, very much related to the type of work it is.

I did have a wrong letter, right answer for 36d but totally wrong parsing (although I must admit it made perfect sense).

Now I have the correct one, it was a very straightforward

I thought 28a was a little tenuous, but straightforward when you get it.

A Scandinavian is SAAME if that helps
