Here a novelty - having to make up part of the clue, viz; - 12 down. I imagine '9 Across' is missing (there’s a bucket-load in this grid!).

Otherwise, I’ve never been as stuck!

There's a floating clue after 9down that just shows after we hit s?it (5,3-3) i think it is white and 25d if that is any help?

I had that one Roto - it’s a lot of the others I’m stuck on, but in the meantime I’ve gotten 23, 26 and 27 down (9 across, but not in the 12 down meaning!).

Then all in a jiffy, it came together - all done. Quite an enjoyable workout.

13/17 is a new one on me.

Can’t parse the middle part of 10 - have king and little boy:
The clue reads: King and little boy on dope came together (7)

Is it nitrous oxide, abbreviated?

Or, I’ve discovered Nitazenes?

Raffles, I don't know if this fits your crossers, but it could be 'King' (1) + 'dope',as in idiot, (3) + 'little boy' (3)

13/17 is one hell of an anagram, Raffles! Best Craptic for a long time, I thought. Took some solving.
