Thanks for the early start and the grid, Jono. It's been a while since we had an Ifor puzzle.
I have a full grid with one I can't parse, and too many of one type of clue. Time for a rethink.

Oops, I meant a Soup puzzle. Was thinking of one of the latest Magpies.

Four entries are not fully parsed, though answers seem correct.

The collected letters 28 or so, arranged by dial number/clue order, read like gibberish.

Almost bed time.
