Thanks to Imogen for, for me anyway, was a real challenge.

In fact, despite being sure of my answers, there are still 7 I've yet to fully parse, and I wasn't helped by some of the definitions being a bit obscure.

For example, in 17a where does the last letter come from - "air"? If so, why? In 6d, where does the "colour" fit in? 26a - where is "a number"?

I could go on, but I'll have a cup of coffee and look at them again later.

FOI was 1d.

COD: A tie between 3d and 7d.

How did you get on? Did you find it as tricky as me or was it a walk in the park?

Stay safe:-)

Thanks Imogen.

Almost simultaneous post, Brendan; mine can be deleted.

Stuck in NW, two to go, crossers.

Long list: 5d, 7d, 13d, 24d, 28a

Hi ilippu,

Let me know if you need any hints, although some of my unparsed answers are in the NW.

Just seen 6d as well - I should have checked Chambers before posting

6d, triple, maybe quadruple definition.

17a has no air, 13a yes, comes from 4d, answer 2, 4; wordplay 1,5

You've lost me ilippu,

17a - I see the first 4 letters are "Disney", but why s the final letter "on air"?

I'm not sure what you're referring to in 13a and 4d, as I was able to parse those straight away.

Sorry, Brendan, please ignore my post on 13a 4d. Misunderstood you.

I think, 17a is simply 4+s (sounding)

That's brilliant ilippu, "on air" as in 'on the radio' giving a homophone indicator.

I was sailing along at warp speed, but took forever to see the obscure 2. Then got stuck on the intersecting 10 and 8. Have some guesses but 8 is a complete mystery. Going to set it aside until tomorrow morning.

Thanks to Imogen.
