No advice on specific clues that haven't already been offered up, but I'd suggest that Brendan isn't always playing fair with the surfaces of some clues relative to the theme, eg 21a and 24a, so don't fall into his traps!

Of course, I meant " the 10a/20d delivery", but it was an absolute jaffa

A hint for 10 a remove the correct letter from 1d and what have you got

Not proving so straightforward for me as for others but I am making progress. I shall press on but if anyone can help without spoilers, is 15a right? Oddly deficient says something else to me. Am I missing something?

Rocky7 - it says a lot about me that I didn’t even spot the obvious alternative parsing to which you are referring, so wasn’t deceived…and I call myself a (part-time) musician!

(The alternative parsing that doesn’t work, I should say 😂)
