Relatively straightforward clearly themed fun from Brendan. I enjoyed working out the 1d, 19, 10, 20 trickery.
However I’ve stared long and hard at 18. The solution is obvious, but I just can’t parse it. Perhaps I’m not seeing the wood for the trees!

18, there are two trees, one reversed, in a typical 2 letter abbreviation for a cop.

Ah, thanks Buddy. Should really have got that, even though I’ve never heard of either of the trees (or if I had I’ve forgotten)!

I hadn't heard of either tree. Wrote in the solution and forgot to research on Google.
Aside from that hitch with 18, I found this fun but the easiest Prize in a long while. Filled in the grid so fast that I didn't keep my customary COD long list.
FOI 1d, LOI 10 (aside from 18 parsing).
Obvious theme, but some of the thematics were tricky. Thanks to Brendan.
COD 10, runner-up 26...those were the only ones I made notes of.

This seems to be one of those puzzles (favoured by Brendan in Prizeland iirc) in which every entry (either clue or solution) is thematic.

Completed by getting 26a (good one) and 16d LOI, most annoying.

COD 26a or 21a.

A groan, but one of appreciation, when i finally got “what’s hard in 10.”
