That’s looks good Tyke.
Not in favour = out
Of = re
Outré in the sense of “beyond what is customary”

Outre is incorrect. What is the role of radical? can it be OUTER with RE reversed. OUTER is a position?

I thought 'outer' at first before outre!

I wasn’t wild about re for of. But all I could offer was “found”, as in set in position. Profound, could be radical, at a stretch, losing pro, in favour of.

I think that’s the best yet, Quisling. I didn’t feel comfortable with re/of either. Chambers Th. has radical under the entry for profound.
