26a - 5 letter "drugs" (think prescription drugs) but the last letter '"cycled" to the front which then gives you the definition "shed" as a verb

23d - 5 letter "mate" slang term minus last letter/'losing a' then 2 letter "bone" - definition is "strides" as in 'trousers'

I can't for the life of me see any connection between 12A and 21A and I'm sure I've got them right.

13A is probably too obscure for me - a midde boomer - how many trios are there? Hundreds?

Missing 5 others but I'll wait for 225 to reveal / explain.

++ I meant to ask the ADMINs - could you please add the ability to SORT the posts from 1 -> 999 rather than presenting them as 999 -> 1 which mean a lot of paging and scrolling to read them in the chronological order which I prefer. Thank you.

I hadn't seen it either, but the link is the first 4 letters of 12, the first 6 letters of 21, and the theme.
Not convinced it isn't accidental!

btw if you click on "Edit" beside your username and dive down a bit, you can choose whether posts are shown newest or oldest first.
