Paulrt - 8D is double definition.

Think of terminal in the non-transport sense of the word...

Raider's puzzle in the Saturday Indy is good. New setter to me, but the Indy employs so many I can't keep up.

Hi Everyone

I've just wasted three hours trying to do this crossword. I knew I shouldn't have started when I saw it was Brockwell. I've done just over half - all on the East side. But now I must read my book group book. I've only read a third and have the rest to read by Tuesday afternoon.

Like Geeker my FOI was 10ac. I nearly always get the same FOI as Geeker. I must correct that as I remember now I got 22ac first followed by 8d, which I liked very much. I've never heard of 12 across. I can't parse 24ac. So far, my COD is 29ac.

I'm hoping for an easier setter next week.

Hi roof
24a is very clever indeed. Shall I just say that it's . . . . hidden?

Thank you Chrise - it’s not NODE then! That had me doubting my very existence for a while. I’m an idiot. Got it now. Much appreciated.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. It’s always good to come here on a Saturday and hear what you guys think. Glad to see that it’s generally gone down well. B

Thanks again, Brockwell. Fascinating integration of theme.
Always a pleasure when a setter visits.
