Finally got a full grid with all of my 43 answers in it, correctly according to the preamble, probably incorrect though. The inspector in the instruction is really confusing me.

Not sure about the parsing given earlier for 32. If you have the answer look up the last 5 letters in the BRB cf the 3rd from last word. I make the definition the last 2 words.

(As always, I may be wrong of course).

Granama1, I think you are parsing Trapdoor 32, while the earlier parsing was for Spinning 32a

Ukridge, Trapdoor 13 def. is first 4 words. Parses as 4, (with extra letter), 1,1,3.
It's not a word I have ever heard, but it is in Bradford's.
