Have reached an impasse in the top right corner. Have answers for 5,6,8, but they're not making much sense at the moment.
I'll have another coffee.

OK, well 5 and 6 resolved themselves with a change of approach and a burst of caffeine, but 8 down? I can now see what it is, but don't really like it much.

I found this really difficult. More so than many Prizes.
Thanks to Everyman. Clever in places, but I think people will find fault with several clues.

COD 29. Also liked 15 and 28. Struggled with some cryptic definitions.

Very difficult for an Everyman.

Still don't understand parts of these two clues...

28a - Conclusion: effing and blinding always ____ (6)

I get that the answer means "conclusion" but why "effing and blinding always ____"?

22d - Produce number but don’t listen to her song (5)

I get the "don't listen to her song" but why "produce number"?

COD: A three-way tie between 19a, 29a and 23d

A few wrong turns but got there in the end. Except for 6 d. I have an answer that fits the crossers and my assumed definition but fitting it to MAGA has me flummoxed.
