Couldn't agree more with Geeker @ 4. My personal list of gripes includes 5A (first three letters apply to one of the Oxbridge institutions, not both, and do the second three really equate to 'matter'?), 6D (okay, Trump supporters are sometimes called his ----, but so are supporters of any other politician), 14D (the wording of the clue makes it impossible to know which letters comprise the fodder), and especially 29A (how does the clue provide the first five letters?). Given that this is two weeks in a row of this sort of thing, I can only hope that the regular Everyman soon returns from his holidays.
