Hi Arib,

22d - "produce number" is 4,1 - definition is "don't listen to her song"

I must have been drinking the Everyman kool-aid as I found it relatively straight forward.

Was expecting Azed today, but it’s another Gemelo. Have you spent your winnings yet Bren?

Not yet Jono. After I got sent my book token I got an email asking if I'd used it yet as they had 'mistakenly doubled up' with some of the links (to the token). I then got sent another £25 token with an instruction to delete the first one (which I haven't done yet), so I might actually have £50 worth of book tokens.

We'll see 😉

Ta, Brendan. I had the ‘don’t listen to her song’ part, not the produce number’. A touch weak, perhaps?

Couldn't agree more with Geeker @ 4. My personal list of gripes includes 5A (first three letters apply to one of the Oxbridge institutions, not both, and do the second three really equate to 'matter'?), 6D (okay, Trump supporters are sometimes called his ----, but so are supporters of any other politician), 14D (the wording of the clue makes it impossible to know which letters comprise the fodder), and especially 29A (how does the clue provide the first five letters?). Given that this is two weeks in a row of this sort of thing, I can only hope that the regular Everyman soon returns from his holidays.

I don't understand the wordplay for 13d. My answer doesn't seem at all cryptic

In 29 "go" gives the first 3 letters. I don't see where the 4th one comes from, though.
18d is just silly.

29a - 3 letter "go" then 6 letter "sound of explosion" minus its last letter/'curtailed'
