I too have gone wrong - I have my "cold in the head" answer an nowhere to put it, so frustrating!

Sign that Ukraine - the theme letters go at the front then 2 letter "Ukraine" + 2 letter "smallest state" (you can Google this, it's in America) + 2 letter "American" - definition is "sign"

Small fact - 4 letter "small fact" + theme letters + 2 letter "your" reversed/'about'.

Now it's back to the drawing board for me 😪

Bossy type - theme letters then 3 letter "hastened" goes around 3 letter "free" - definition is "bossy type"

For the Ukraine one, Ukraine and smallest state are separate two letter abbreviations. For the sculpture one your could be yr.

I have that space open, assuming it's correct, but that would make the S from the organ stop clue the penultimate letter in the "cold in the head" clue - problem is, I've got that as a Z in my answer.

I was hoping there's an alternate spelling but Chambers is adamant there isn't!

I found support for the z spelling of the organ stop online and assumed that was the intention, but now you mention it none of the dictionaries I have a carry it as far as I can see.

I haven't made a list yet of all the theme pairs and it never occurred to me that the Z could be in the organ stop answer but, after I read your post, I checked Google and it seems that's how it's spelt, so I'm going with that.

Reply to post #1. After having temporarily given up on 29673 by Kite, I closed my browser tab. Following that, when I wanted to resume, there appeared to be no links to it at all from the Guardian crosswords page. I suppose I'm missing something obvious but does anyone know why it just vanished. It has the same number as Maskarade's puzzle which is odd.
