I assumed both the odd looking answers were of equivalent length, and the columns were adjacent. If so, swap the bars around. If not I’ve misunderstood, so please ignore me

It’s fine, Candledave. My objection to answers being spelled out, often in capitals, and themes being given away, is mainly that they can’t be unseen, and solvers work at very different paces and start at very different times. So I don’t like to spoil anyone’s fun if they are just coming here for hints.

I do understand that many solvers will need help, especially on beasts like this. And I hope I am occasionally able to provide it. But equally I’m very happy to be admonished if I have crossed the line.
