A little confused with your last - The first choice of clashing letters shows the 2 characters and the object they are holding beneath the large object (scene 1). By replacing with the alternative 4 clashing letters (as per preamble) the 2 characters and the object they are holding disappear.

Yes Crates. I can see that your interpretation works for the two clashes you mentioned. However there is no optimal choice for the final resolution of the other two clashes as far as I can see.

Initially the two named characters are seen holding the smaller object,hoping to catch the larger object. The clash cells are set for this. Then the disaster occurs and the characters flee from the scene, and this is illustrated by the reversal of all four clash choices. No option!

This one has proved too difficult for me. Could anyone help by sharing where the four clashes occur? I have almost finished the grid without finding any of them!
