Very hard - I've only managed 3 answers. One issue is whether some radials include the central circle ( and thus have 7 letters) whilst others don't. Any thoughts?

I also have the first solution for Ring 4 which takes up half the circle. This doesn't seem to leave much space for the other three in that ring....?

Hi dylan - I have the same suspicion that one or more radials may have seven letters. This is certainly a tough one.

Several of the radials are seven letters.

Not sure how he gets a total of 16 interrupting letters. I make it 12.

I suppose one could wangle 16. It's very unclear.

Really struggling to get going today! I've only solved 2 clues so far. Can I assume that all the Radials are either 6 or 7 letters long i.e. none shorter than 6?

I think this is a beauty. As not all the radials have 7 letters the extra letter must be written in the central circle for each occasion - that makes 16. The title makes a lovely last-minute extra PDM.

I agree with Dylan about it being a very hard start. Most circulars take a lot of cold solving, and I found that the last 50% of the puzzle took only about 20% of the total solving time.

Well I've been staring at the finished grid (if I can call it that?) for ages and have no PDM, just two apparently random totals! For 'Gallery' are we supposed to be thinking on artistic lines?

Hi Simond9x - your assumption is correct

S_pugh, it's not an artistic theme; it's another sort of gallery. I think the totals are random; at least, I don't see any particular significance in them.

I think it's a pity the PDM is now no longer a PDM.
