Yes, a truce needed all round, I think, Eirlys.
We are all needed to make this work.
Each individual's "little bit" all goes towards strengthening the whole.

Hi Rusty!
Oh dear! I am all "rung out" with politics!
Malone's mention of tonight's showing of "The Somme" - which I have just set to record - reminded me that I wanted to record Friday's programme, too.
I see that tonight's version is told through letters , diaries, and official reports - all in the style of Lyn MacDonald!
It should be interesting to see how this is portrayed by the medium of television, don't you think?
It is now time to take out the dog again........and the sun is shining, so the feel-good factor is out there!

Pigale, there is certainly no need to apologise! I had no comment to make because I'm suffering from Brexititis - both the exit itself and the reading/discussion/arguing about it.

Hello, Elle!
Yes, let us put the politics on the back burner!
Yes, I am intrigued by Malone's programme.
I have found it in my channel listings and set it to record.
There is also a documentary on BBC One NI, on Wednesday called "Voices 16 - Somme" but you may not get Norn Iron TV?
Just watched the National Cycling Time Trial Championships.
I have not opened my paper yet!

Hello, Doglet!
I did wonder if it was Portstewart in Northern Ireland that you meant!
Yes, I am sure Theresa May will be in the frame.

Hi, Rusty!
We just made it back from the park before the rain arrived!
It was beautiful whilst we were out.....
It is now raining fairly heavily.......and I'm sure I just heard a rumble of thunder......yes, the dog is cowering......
I 'm sure that I don't have BBC One NI , Rusty!
I have enough trouble getting the more basic everyday channels.
Is the programme "Voices 16 - Somme" concerned with the effect of the Battle of the Somme on Northern Ireland in particular?
I am wondering this because otherwise I would have thought it would have been shown on our BBC 1 here, too?
How did the cycling go? Anything 'strange or startling' happen?
Have you has the time to read your paper yet?!

Hi elle
If you have Sky, I expect that you will have BBC NI - all the regional variations are there - in the 900s as I recall.
