Hello, Elle!
"Murder" is a good series.
The relative of the executed person is pinning their hopes on getting the judge to say the conviction is unsafe.
They can get quite emotional, having lived with the knowledge of a hanged relative all their lives.
I think I shall pass on Nectar points.
I do not spend enough money to gain very many.

Hi, Rusty!
Sainsbury's are quite good at "rewarding" their customers.
Apart from being able to use the Nectar card in Sainsbury's, the store also sends out vouchers occasionally; so much money off the bill if one spends a set minimum amount.
I like shopping there, although we do have an Aldi and a Lidl quite close by.
Tesco's is further afield, and I would need transport.
I notice that "Casualty" is on the TV tonight.
I am recording it.
I cannot watch it, until I have caught up with the last three episodes!
I am way behind with my viewing!

Hello, Elle!
Sainsbury is too far away from me. Roughly 8 miles.
And I would have to pass ASDA, ALDI, TESCO, and Morrison's to get there, so I am unlikely to ever go there.
No TV for me this evening.
But the slalom is on EuroSport tomorrow morning, and I won't miss that!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, eight miles is definitely too far to go to do your supermarket shopping!
Sainnsbury's and Aldi are about equidistant for me, but I prefer Sainsbury's.
We have a Tesco Express (a "mini" store) down on the High Street, but the "proper" larger Tesco store requires transport to get there.
We have neither a Morrison's nor an Asda, here.
We used to go to Morrison's, though, when staying in Pakefield, in Suffolk.
I rather liked it.
What time does the slalom start tomorrow morning?

Good morning, Elle!
Seems to be dry outside!
It is years since I was in Morrison's.
I used to take the girls to the cafe there, after school.
I liked the store.
Always remember they had a super fish counter.
The first run of the slalom is around 9 o'clock and the second run is around noon.
I saw a photo of Doddie Weir yesterday and he was wearing a neck brace...and a big smile.
He's a brave man!

A Very Good morning to you, Rusty!
It is dry here, too.
Mildish, but dull and dreary.
I prefer a crisp, bright, sunny morning!
The girls were lucky, having you to collect them from school...and watch the Olsen twins, Ashleigh and Mary-Kate, all together!
I cannot remember the name of the programme?
Speaking of twins, I noticed that "Parent Trap" , where Hayley Mills plays both twins, is on the TV some time over the festive period.
I enjoyed that, when I watched it many moons ago.
Yes, Doddie Weir is indeed courageous, battling his adversity with such a smile.
I expect you are watching the slalom now.......how is it going?
And I need a coffee!

Hello, Elle!
Great day here!
Mary-Kate and Ashleigh were in "Two of a Kind".
It was a great programme!
Slalom going well.
After the first run Mikaela Shiffrin is leading Petra Vlhova with Nina Haver-Loeseth in third place.
Only two crashes, too.
The bottom section of the course was very tricky and Mikaela seemed to be the only one who held her speed through the difficult gates.
And that's how she's the best ever!
I am looking forward to your Sainsbury delivery.
Will they substitute a packet of Persil for a half pound of mince?
Could be great fun these home deliveries!

Hi, Rusty!
We now have a weak, watery sun peeping out ....he may put his hat on later.
I was disappointed with today's Everyman.....much too easy...and with far too many anagrams.
Ah well! like buses, there will be another one along later.....
I don't (she says hopefully /trustingly ) foresee any particular problems with the grocery deliveries.......
Sainsbury's have said that if they do not have an item, then rather than leave the customer without , they will bring a close alternative - which one is entitled to refuse.
That sounds sensible to me?
Anyway, it is not as though I have any choice in the matter.....
I simply cannot carry the bulky and / or heavy goods home.
I am not ordering any perishable foods.....such as fruit or veg, and meats.
I prefer to go down to the shop and choose these for myself.
But they will not be heavy, and I can walk there and back.
Well done, Mikaela!
Keep it up!

Hello, Elle!
I think your Sainsbury delivery is a sound idea.
Be interesting to hear how it goes.
"Wonder Woman" Mikaela has won again!
Petra Vlhova in second and Michelle Gisin third.
Great competition.
Tricky conditions, too.
Icy for the first part, then snow on the bottom part, and a very steep course.

Hi, Rusty!
I have had a wander down to the High Street......yes, to Sainsbury's!..... in search of some fruit.
We are down to just oranges and plums!
The shelves were still surprisingly empty of fresh produce...... perhaps hordes of ravenous folk had descended upon the store before I got there!
I bought some grapes and cherries. and a few other bits and bobs.
I looked at my receipt to check on the Nectar points, since you were asking about their worth.
As of now, we have over 13, 000 points, , giving us £68 - 60 to spend!
So yes, I think this is well worth having?
There is no cut-off date. either, so the money can be accumulated and spent when we wish.
Right, we have not yet had any lunch.......
So I am now about to make some sandwiches and heat up the tomato soup!
