Hi, Rusty!
That is very nice that your younger son came to visit you on Fathers' Day!
And that your other son is coming tomorrow!
Our son phoned earlier on his way to work - to wish his dad a happy day!
Now, the Outlook (ex Hotmail) system works well for me in many ways....I have a very effective filing system......now that I can access it again!
And I CAN delete attachments from my Inbox.....
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/How-to-delete-files-or-photos-in-Outlook-com-bae0531f-040f-4c42-90b9-786ca718c16d
They just reappear elsewhere in another guise in different folders!
But I can ignore this by simply not clicking onto the paperclip icon.
I can see that I am not expressing this very well?
I feel happier about the situation, though, now I know that the problem was not of my doing.....
I shall probably stay with it ...and see how things go....it has worked so well for me in the past.
And I have it all brilliantly organised......which was why I was so stressed out by Outlook's "improvements" / interference.
Heaven save me, though, from any more "service engineers"!!!!!
There are highlights of the Rabat Diamond League on BBC tonight...if you are interested?
It is on very late., so I am going to record it.

Hello, Elle!
I think you like the Outlook system, and if it works well for you, no reason to change.
You could always try one or two others, though, alongside Outlook, and see what you think.
Often customer services are a let down, I've found.
They follow a script rather than deal with the problem.
I'll probably watch a bit of the golf later.

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been talking to my cousin.
The family up there had also been out for Fathers' Day, but they went in the early evening rather than lunch time, hence her phoning later than usual.
Were your friends from Norn Iron travelling back tonight?
Have you heard from them?

Hello, Elle.
Yes, I think Father's Day would be good for the pubs and restaurants.
Was your Carvery busy?
The Norn Iron folk are safely home in rainy Belfast!
It was dry all the time they were here!
I've had a few text messages from them.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, the Carvery was extremely busy.
But we had made a reservation...I doubt any one could get in if they hadn't done so.
And we were at beginning of the lunch trade, so were shown straight to the table without the need to wait.
On a Sunday, there is always a choice of five meats...beef, lamb, pork, turkey and gammon.
You can "mix and match" if so wished.
And a goodly array of vegetables.
That is good that your friends are home safely.
Had they travelled by ferry?

Hello, Elle!
Seems you get a good feed at your Carvery!
Yes, my friends left Cairnryan round about 3 o'clock the ferry sailed.
The crossing to Belfast takes 2 hours and 15 minutes.
They stopped for a Chinese takeaway meal to eat at home!

Good morning, Rusty!
A sunny and breezy day here!
I had a pleasant invigorating walk.
Nothing special arranged for today.
I shall take it as it comes.
I have last night's Diamond League to watch!

Hi, Rusty!
We are just home!
It is such a lovely day that, about midday, we suddenly decided to throw some iron rations into a knapsack ......and head out!
We have both walked.....and sat, enjoying the sunshine.
So I still haven't caught up with the Athletics highlights...…..
A treat for this evening!

Hello, Elle!
It has been showery here, but turned into a fine evening.
I am having a quiet evening browsing through my Collins dictionary!
"Prink" is a new word for me.
Royal Ascot starts tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it!
