I've had some Lebanese food, elle. It was all vegetarian, delightful things done with aubergine (iman beyaldi, the iman fainted!), salads and lovely bread, hummus and tabuleh (?spelling) I think we also had some kebabs, made with lamb mince and garlic.

Good afternoon, Elle!
Great day here, too.
I think this is the warmest February day in Scotland for over 100 years!
Pine Cone was great.
One of the girls has just returned from her home in the Tatra Mountains and was telling us all about it.
I only know it was a Lebanese restaurant but not what they serve in it.
La Bamba said it was a lot of different stuff in wee bowls.
They enjoyed it!

Hi, Rusty!
I expect that you are still talking to your son....?
I am ashamed to say that I did not know where the Tatra Mountains are.....and have had to look it up!
I have learned that it is a mountain range between Slovakia and Poland, and is the highest mountain range in the Carpathian Mountains.
Your friend at the Pine Cone is a long way from home!
Is she over here to study?
The Lebanese food sounds interesting from what you and Ros have said...
I think I should like it (apart from the aubergines!)
I must check out whether we have a Lebanese restaurant near us.
Today though, my friend and I went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch.
The food was delicious!
( I do not need any dinner!)

Hello, Elle!
Yes, the waitress comes from near the border with Slovakia, she said.
Her sister is here, too.
I have not asked if she studies here, though some of the waitresses are schoolgirls or students.
My son was saying the folk who have the Lebanese restaurant are very welcoming and friendly and he liked the food.
Glad you enjoyed your Chinese lunch!

Hi, Rusty!
I like trying out new restaurants and different menus.
I shall certainly look into the Lebanese food options.
Our next meal out will be for lunch on Saturday, with our younger daughter and family.
It is her birthday today.......and so we are all going out for family lunch at the weekend to celebrate!
I have no idea where...... I am leaving it to her to choose!

That's Ok elle.
What I liked was that they are small portions so you can try lots of things and avoid anything you don't like very easily.

Hello, Elle!
I hope you can find a Lebanese restaurant in the vicinity.
My family were very pleased with the one in town.
This is a review.

You will enjoy going out with your daughter on Saturday, I'm sure!
Will it be a local-ish restaurant that you'll go?

Good morning, Rusty!
Thick fog here when I was out earlier...but the sun is struggling to come through now.
The Lebanese food shown in your link looks very appetising!
I should love to try it.
And the reviews are excellent.
I have managed to track down two Lebanese restaurants over Croydon way, but the reviews on the quality of food, waiter service, and ambience are mostly poor.
( And parking would be difficult)
There are several restaurants up in London , but I would not consider driving ten miles or so (then back again) just to dine out.
I shall ask around to see if anyone can recommend a nearby restaurant that serves Lebanese food on its menu.
I am waiting to hear from my daughter to find out where we are lunching tomorrow.
But, no, I do not think that it will be local for us.
Most probably in a location halfway between our homes?
What are you up to today?

Good morning, Elle!
It's a bit cloudy here and seems to be cooler than we were promised.
Yes, Tahini appears to be popular.
My son and La Bamba spoke very well of it, to me.
They said the food was excellent and emphasised the friendliness of the staff.
So it appears all positive.
I'd imagine there'll be several Lebanese restaurants in and around London.
But, driving and parking could be problematic.
I have no plans today.
La Bamba is getting trained to cut carpets at B&Q, or we could have gone for a bacon roll.
