Help.

I'm being blocked by Java as well. Where do I find the Java control panel to lower the security? I'm using Chrome.

Looks like most people are still having problems downloading as usual. Sorry, can't help there.
Nevertheless would still like to "broadcast" my last problem in case anyone can help:
14a clue: Beyond content of garden , I let results develop (6 letters)
I have E?A?E? and they are certain.
Any suggestions?
I thought of Eden as garden, but can't see any normal word that fits...................

cmk - it should be accessible (as "control panel") from the start button, but you may have to restart or wait a bit though

I found it by opening the control panel, then typing Java in the search box (top right).

I added the link as an allowed site (which I was advised not to) and reduced the security to Medium, and guess what....................it was still blocked.

I did as you said (ie search for Java on control panel) but then I clicked the security tab, and reduced the level to medium - ie I didn't add anything.

And it worked......

I've another q though, now. Should I restore my Java security straight away, or when I've finished with the crossword?

Why do they torment us like this? I've been doing the Genius from day one, and always try to engineer a flexi day off for the first Monday of the month. I could have cried when I couldn't access it (pathetic I know, but, hey...).

Serenity is now restored.

I'm giving up. I reset the security to medium, then restarted (as others have advised). It still didn't work, so I went back into Java to reset the security to high, only to discover that it had done that itself.
