Hi folk, I've not even looked at this one yet but your 12 pages of discussion does not fill me with any hope of doing it! As a matter of interest , G Kite , I had trouble with submitting last months Genius on my desktop running Windows XP and eventually tried on my laptop running Linux Mint and ' bobs your uncle ' it went thro' no trouble. Both were using Firefox browser !

Thanx 4 the tip, uncle w, but the result via Firefox was the same: "JRE collision" --- don't know what that means, but anyway I've now found s'one I can trust to submit it for me, luckily. Good luck when you get round to doing it: I'm not even convinced they're going to explain more, or imporove their service technically, either.

Although I've now solved the puzzle itself AND the problem of how to get it submitted, I'm opening a NEW THREAD at once so it'll be a bit easier to access!
THEREFORE PLEASE USE THE NEW ONE FROM NOW ON !!!

When I first look at this puzzle there were no special instructions. This was unusual and looking back made was a less than complete experience as not all the clues seemed to be 100% accurate. When a friend told me that the instructions were there when he go to the crossword I went back and it became a satisfying whole.

I drop into this site occasionally usually to see how others got on with the Genius crossword. It amuses me when posters grumble about the 'dreadful service'. Is this the dreadful free service they are getting?
