Hi all, a couple of queries:
1) Unlike uncle w I don't get 28,23 as a 'funny' clue, but I do have 26,2....am I wrong?
2) I still don't get 17ac. I have the palindrome - but what's the relevance to 'resembling a tandem'?
Re 7d I definitely think Paul is getting his farm stock confused!

I've got OTTO but don't get why. I get cycle for palindrome but what is OTTO?

Ok, I've managed to find some obscure links in Google to Otto diesel cycles and Otto bikes so I assume one is the wordplay and one is the definition - they seem interchangeable but I'm not going to worry about it!
