I suspected what the 7 letters could be and I woke up this morning with the possible answer for 15-30-7, as I had the grid-fill but not all the letters of the framework, last night.

Incidentally, 7d was my FOI, as I was identifying the unclued, and was surprised it was clued.

You have now confused me with "first letter in row 14", why not the one in row 1, as where it should start?

I have not interpreted the framework correctly, perhaps, I am on the wrong track.

Well, yes, you can certainly start identifying the seven cells from row 1 or from the bottom. From the top, the first cell that obeys the rules of the framework and provides one of the "keys" is in row 9.

Only now do I see that the duration of ‘keys’ 5 and 6 (being double those that precede them) is cleverly indicated by their spacing.

If the keys are in 9 to 14 I only get 6. Am I missing something or do I need to re-examine all the answers?
