ahhh ... thank you, jono. I had stupidly failed to find a link to 14 and of course it's that word. And I equally hadn't linked the 10 word to a clue - and it's my son's name!

Just began this about an hour ago and have several extra words but 2 clues seem to have the same one - I wont give which ones to avoid spoilers, but have I gone wrong?

I have 24 extra words but am not overly happy about one of them, assuming it is one of them, of course.

23a says the answer "is including good" which is enough for 99% of solvers to realise it includes a G. My problem it also says "including good opening" which is, of course, also G, so while i"opening" could indeed be said to be redundant, it is, in a literal sense, absolutely correct - or is it not one of the 24?

If the response would be considered a spoiler then please say so, it's just that I looked back over previous posts and some were way more explicit.

Actually, maybe the following clue has an extra word, but my query is similar to before, in that to ge the answer we do "push back" although "to back" would be sufficient.

I've just realised I miscounted and had 25 extra words, so maybe 23a isn't one of the 24.

23a has an extra word, the one you mentioned earlier.

My problem is I'm sure of 'nearly' all of them. The only other ones I have a question mark against are 5 and 6 down (I'm leaning towards 6) but with 5 why "drunken" and not 'drunk', plus Chambers gives as "worthless" so 'scoundrel' would fit.

Again, if these are spoilers please just let me know (although given the 3D cubes and similies endgame I think a bit of lenience should be allowed:-)
