All done, but can anyone help me parse 32? I’m at the point where I feel like I’ve thought way too hard about it!

32- Def is 1st 2 words; "has hi" done, ie anagrammed.

This got very fiddly but we got there in the end.
The absence of thematic material in the other rings made the entries rather difficult.

I have managed to solve most of the radial clues and have got the message from the removed letters, giving me the definition of the key word. However, I have been unable to enter anything in the grid because I simply cannot solve any of the perimeter clues. The lack of a definition is proving too much for my feeble old brain. A hint for any (or even all) of the perimeter clues would be hugely appreciated.

0pt0 -- the perimeter clues all share the same definition, which is thematic (generally rather than specifically, which may not make sense until you've solved one or two of them...)
