Can this be downloaded free anywhere? I subscribed for free last week. Now they're asking £1.

Looks like pay only. It says it's only £1 but I suspect that is the start of a slippery slope 😢

Maybe there's a puzzles only rate, but I don't care enough to investigate. I passed on last week's Everyman because I suspected fees were coming. Oh well, it's been fun.

I only started doing Everymans during Covid because they seemed popular on the forum.

On a small pension I,for one, cannot afford it.

I'm not averse to paying for content, and would consider a crossword-only subscription.
Otherwise, it's farewell to Everyman and Gemelo.

A subscription is not required (yet at least) but as noted last week, registration is. I will keep doing Everyman as long as it’s free. I can’t imagine why I would want a subscription to the Observer.
