Hmm. I’m not getting a paywall, just a popup asking me to subscribe.

I'm in the UK and just had to register for free to get to the crosswords.

I’m in the US, Brendan. I seem to recall last week that some had to register and some didn’t. I didn’t last week but had to now. Maybe it’s browser dependent? Or maybe the free registration starts a clock ticking.

My thoughts are similar to yours in that a clock starts ticking once you register. If that is the case, anyone who has yet to register will be allowed through this week, but in the coming weeks they'll see the paywall... time will tell.

Morning all. I’ve tried logging out and re-registering with a new email but I still hit the paywall.

Well that's weird, I normally use the Brave browser but thought I'd try and log on using Chrome and, hey presto - I was able to access the puzzle!
