Nice one Raffles.

It's similar to the name of Sherlock's sister... kind of 🤷

Probably more famous as Sebastian Flyte’s teddy bear and constant companion in Brideshead Revisited, esp the 80s adaptation with Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews

I'm referring to his actual first name rather than nickname 😂

That is the standard spelling of that name. I don’t know if the show ever made it to this side of the Atlantic.

A great crossword

FOI 24a LOI 20d which I thought a little loose. COD 9d 17a cannot quite parse 26a but got it as its theme related. 11a had a reference to the second best team in North London

Well done Brockwell,

Well I've almost got to the bottom of this now (after sabotaging the NE by mis-spelling 7d as I entered it, thereby messing up the otherwise easy-ish 11, 13 and 16!) I kind of see a thematic quality to some of the answers but nowhere near the 15 or 16 that others are discussing.

Just 20d and 28a left to get and I don't see either of them. Any tips welcome...

Hi jvector
20d is a fairly obscure word, but it constructs fairly.
28a "obsessive" is a noun rather than an adjective.
