I try to do the Listener using my own resources - or admit defeat, that I sense is occurring more often - but I found the wording of this one so opaque that I feel able to ask for help. Two problems:
1. Near the end of the preamble there is mention of an "extra" clue. As far as I can see, all the clues relate to entries, there's no superfluous one. Does it mean the clue from the normal six that is not in the group of five cited elsewhere? How is that "extra"?
2. To carry out the final instruction, I can see the obvious character to be used. But the result is meaningless, unless it's the name of someone I don't know. This sort of thing is very bad for one's latent paranoia!
