20d is a fairly horrible spooner. The answer is a sugar.

28 first and last letters from "skimpy"; inside a (female) sex maniac with letters "cycled".

Please end our misery…
We think we have 15d (3) but can’t parse it.
We think the answer is a synonym -ish of ‘ Married’ in that it implies unity.
And that its connection with 10ac is implied by the familiar phrase, ‘Oh, you are a ***’
Finally, for the avoidance of doubt, the answer is also a number (and I don’t mean an anaesthetic!).
Is our thinking correct?
