No, the R is wrong. I only got the first word of 26 after getting 18.

I am still looking for a hint to 15. I must be obtuse as everyone else seems to have gotten it.

Rocky, for 24 put "HAVE" at the end of the entry and see what you get.

I can't fully parse 15 but I can parse "A pair of students" "old" and "workers". I had a word for a flat at first which was throwing me off until I read the thread. You could find several of the other answers in this place though.

Thanks to all for the hints here everyone. Couldn’t have done it without you. Rainman spotting a theme in the context of 15d helped me get 15d plus some others.
13a, 8d and 20d fit a broader theme but are definitely not from a 15d!

Yes the green tick came up as soon as I exited the puzzle (after fixing the typos!). Nice!

Much quality cluing today. Hats off to Crucible. Just delightfully put together eg 14a, 16a, 25d, 9d.
I like 26a too but agree maybe a bit of a dated reference, although there have been plenty of repeats I guess. It has even been on one of the streaming services here in the US at some point I seem to remember.
