Thanks for parsing 11a. Was delighted to finish with only 11 and 14a unparsed, but now realise I've put an 'o' in 14. The correct answer I can just about understand. I hate you Enigmatist! (Only joking - great puzzle, thanks)

I couldn't decide between O and I in 14 - neither seems to parse for me!

chrise: I not O.
A synonym of a slightly unusual meaning of ‘crack’, minus N.
It puzzled me too.

Thanks rogissimo. I think "slightly" is an understatement!

I thought this was quite easy for an Enigmatist. But it was the usual dreary exercise in tooth pulling with, as stargull says at 28, "too many ‘I suppose so’ instead of ‘Ah ha!’ moments".

Well this has certainly been a slog, I have been staring at my LOI 15a for some time without success: "Having notions one passed on." (5). My crossers are I _ E _ D. Any help please?

Last four letters are a word for ‘passed on’. The whole word is an unusual word for ‘having notions’.
